Bee Block for Alyson

Alyson requested a "rolling diamonds" block using her newsprint fabric and bright pinks/purples/yellow/oranges from out stash.  If the other blocks are anything like mine, Alyson will have to wear sunglasses while quilting!

September Albers' Square Lucky Bee block for Jenny

Here's my Lucky Bee block for September queen, Jenny.  I love the "Homage to a Square" inspiration and the addition of a Liberty print was a nice touch.

Jenny included the fabric on the left.

I decided to simplify & keep it all "pinkish".

Following the "Homage to a Square" design by Josef Albers we were challenged to create a block using a square of Liberty fabric and three different solids. A fun challenge!
