Committee Reports
We welcomed new members and guests to the meeting. Membership requested "Member News" be sent to the Newsletter.
Charity committee let us know that St. Vincents loved the kids' quilts that we donated.
Our Treasurer, Greer, gave us an in-depth explanation of our finances, complete with visuals!
Margaret showed us the Block Lotto block for February.

A Very Full Meeting!
The meeting kicked off with a recap of the tour of the War and Pieced exhibit at the American Folk Art Museum. Thanks again to Jean R. for organizing!

New Space Announcement
Starting in February, we will be meeting at the Sheen Center at 18 Bleecker Street, in Studios A+B. We'll be back to our old meeting time, 10am-2pm. It is a beautiful space that we think will work out great for the Guild. Check it out: https://sheencenter.org

Kristin Axtman joined us to talk about her journey to starting Brooklyn Haberdashery, an online store for "Fine Goods For Needlecrafting". She brought lots of goodies to purchase!
She also led a workshop in Boro, a form of decorative Japanese mending.

On top of our regular meeting raffles, we also had a pin cushion swap. Members used all kinds of crafts to make pin cushions for other members. The selection was a secret!
